SCAM

People who work in the medical field have notified us that they are being contacted by someone saying he is John Smith at the Lauderdale County Sheriff's Office. So far, these numbers have not been answered by the recipient(s) so the caller(s) leave a voicemail advising they need a call back. DO NOT call them back, it is not us. There could be charges billed back to your phone, etc...Some of numbers have the prefix 601,470, 483, or Blocked showing as incoming. For the purpose that the scammers may be using(spoofing) someone's actual phone number, we will not publish the entire number.
